Inaugural Conference on Diversity: Inclusion & Exclusion in Clinical Trials

Clinical Research Alliance has a 12 year historical and current goal of providing clinical trials in the

community. Including in our mission is to offer clinical trials through Acute Care Hospitals, Practitioners

and Multi-Specialty Practices that have a focus on serving populations of diversity. The marketplace is

changing as families want to receive care in their communities versus traveling long distances to

providers that are unfamiliar. In many instances, the current clinical trial approach is antiquated and

ineffective. It’s an old model that does not work in our changing dynamic, healthcare environment: and

the results are daunting.

The purpose of this conference it to awaken Pharmaceutical Manufacturers to this changing world and

to provide practical and actionable information to these stakeholders, from industry to all health care

providers across the spectrum of involvement. A key takeaway is to provide insight into changes

needed in the delivery of Clinical Trials to be successful in diverse populations.
